Sourced from the northern mountainous region of Kirishima, Kagoshima, this premium matcha grows at altitudes up to 1,700m in mineral-rich volcanic soil and a mild Pacific climate. The first-flush leaves are carefully shaded from sunlight for about four weeks, boosting chlorophyll and L-theanine to create a vibrant green colour, smooth texture, and rich umami depth. Stone-milled slowly, taking up to an hour to produce just 30g of powder. This matcha delivers a creamy, intense flavour and exceptional softness, making it ideal for high-quality lattes or straight preparation.
