Sourced from the lush tea fields of Kagoshima, Japan, this matcha is crafted from organically grown Gyokuro. A prized green tea cultivated in up to 90% shade to develop deep umami and vibrant green colour. Shading increases chlorophyll and amino acid levels in the leaves, creating a smooth, rich profile with subtle sweetness and minimal bitterness.

Once harvested, the tea is carefully dried and slowly stone-ground using traditional granite mills, leaving fine, velvety texture.
