Sourced from renowned tea fields, this Wakatake ceremonial-grade matcha is crafted from the youngest first-flush leaves. Shaded for several weeks before harvest to increase chlorophyll and L-theanine, this allows the leaves to develop their vivid green colour, smooth texture, and rich umami depth. Each batch is stone-milled in small quantities, producing an exceptionally fine powder with remarkable softness and balance. Defined by its deep umami, natural sweetness, and vibrant hue, this is true ceremonial matcha.
